  • dietary, seating, age, or event-specific information, where required.

3.2 Transaction and Payment Information

  • payment amount;
  • currency;
  • payment status;
  • refund, void, or reversal status;
  • payment method type;
  • card brand;
  • last four digits of card number, where provided by the processor;
  • card expiry month/year, where provided by the processor;
  • authorisation code;
  • processor transaction ID;

  • fraud/risk result;
  • chargeback or dispute status;
  • settlement and reconciliation information.

Sun Tixx does not intend to store full card numbers, CVV/CVC codes, magnetic stripe data, PINs, or full sensitive authentication data after authorisation. Card payment data is processed through approved payment processors, acquiring banks, gateways, or hosted payment solutions.

4. How We Use Information

Sun Tixx may use personal information to:

  • process payments, refunds, voids, reversals, invoices, and payment links;
  • route transactions through Stripe, Scotiabank, Scotia eCom+, Fiserv, or another approved payment provider;
  • issue receipts, invoices, confirmations, QR codes, barcodes, and tickets;
  • verify identity, prevent fraud, and protect against unauthorised transactions;
  • manage access control, ticket scanning, check-in, guest lists, seating, wristbands, and event entry;
  • provide customer support;
  • communicate event updates, postponements, cancellations, and venue instructions;
  • assist with disputes, chargebacks, fraud investigations, and reconciliation;
  • provide organiser dashboards, sales reports, attendance reports, and settlement reports;
  • comply with legal, banking, card network, tax, accounting, audit, AML, fraud-prevention, and regulatory obligations;
  • improve Sun Tixx services, user experience, platform reliability, and security;
  • send marketing communications where permitted by law and user preferences.

5. Payment Processors and Financial Partners

Sun Tixx may share transaction-related information with payment processors, acquiring banks, card networks, fraud-prevention tools, and financial partners where necessary to process payments and protect transactions.

  • Stripe;
  • Scotiabank;
  • Scotia eCom+;
  • Fiserv / First Data-related processing systems;
  • Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Linx, or other applicable card or payment networks;

6. Card Data and PCI Security

Sun Tixx is committed to handling payment information responsibly.

Where card payments are accepted, Sun Tixx uses payment processors, gateways, hosted payment pages, tokenisation, encryption, and/or secure processing methods designed to reduce exposure to sensitive cardholder data.

Sun Tixx does not intend to store full card numbers or CVV/CVC codes on its ordinary business systems.

Where card data is entered into a hosted payment page, embedded checkout, or secure payment form, the relevant payment processor or gateway may collect and process that information directly.

Sun Tixx may retain limited transaction metadata, such as card brand, last four digits, authorisation code, processor reference, payment status, refund status, and dispute status, for reconciliation, support, audit, reporting, and fraud-prevention purposes.

7. Sharing with Event Organisers and Merchants

Where you purchase a ticket, product, tour, experience, pass, or service through Sun Tixx, we may share relevant order, ticket, attendee, and contact information with the organiser, venue, merchant, promoter, tour operator, or authorised event partner.

This may include information needed to:

  • admit you to the event;
  • verify your ticket;

  • manage seating, access, wristbands, accreditation, or guest lists;
  • deliver the product, service, tour, or experience;

Organisers and merchants are expected to use your information responsibly and only for legitimate event, customer service, operational, legal, and marketing purposes where permitted.

Sun Tixx may operate independent event pages, branded landing pages, microsites, payment pages, and campaign-specific checkout flows for festivals, concerts, conferences, cultural events, tours, and other projects.

Even where a page displays event-specific branding, Sun Tixx may collect, process, and share personal information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Examples may include independent ticketing pages for major events, cultural festivals, music festivals, calypso events, tourism experiences, and client-specific sales campaigns.

Organisers and merchants using Sun Tixx must ensure that they have the lawful right to provide customer, attendee, staff, sponsor, vendor, artist, and event data to Sun Tixx.

Organisers and merchants must not upload or collect unnecessary sensitive information unless required for a legitimate event, legal, safety, accessibility, or operational purpose.

Organisers and merchants are responsible for any additional privacy notices or consents required for their own use of attendee or customer data.

Sun Tixx may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

The updated version will be posted on the Sun Tixx website with a revised “Last Updated” date.
